1.How do you usually celebrate festivals in your country?

Festivals are usually celebrated with special meals, family get-togethers and sometimes going out to restaurants, maybe a dinner with workmates, or going to see a performance at a local events venue. Markets and commercial activities surrounding the festival theme are also common.

2.What special food and activities do you have for these holidays?

Usually my parents cook their favourite dishes at festivals. The dishes that are regarded by the family as their special dishes. My mum always prepares 8 particular dishes on holidays, and a lot of snacks and wine to accompany them.

3.What is your favorite festival?

Although the May holiday is my favourite time of year for a holiday, my favourite actual festival is most certainly the Spring Festival. Its a magical time of year for me and I think many people in my country share that feeling. Its basically our main, most important festival. The family all get-together, eat amazing food, watch an annual gala show and the build-up to the festival is always positive and exciting.
